How do you motivate yourself?

Most passionate business men out there will lose to drive after a while to move ahead, citing to reasons like recurring problems, financial problems and the likes. I know for a fact that some of the members here are businessmen themselves, so I hope someone would share what are some of the ways or reason that makes them push themselves so hard and what was the reason that caused them to initially lose interest.

I think the most important is to have positive group of friend supporting you.

Even if you want to give up, they'll push you back on your feet.

It may take changes inside you to start in business, but you'll need the help of others to keep on keeping on.

Firstly, cannot deny that your partner's (be it girl friend or wife) support is most important. As they will be the one encouraging you or discouraging you. So behind a successful man, there is the important woman.

Second, your team is important. I have shareholders who are more concern over my loss of income than their dividend. That motivates me to work harder for their money and not to fail anyone.

Next, if you grow your company to have a few staff, you will have to feed them. So your motivation is to sustain the company for their livelihood.

Lastly, when you are down as human, take a short break away from the pressure and depression. Taking a break will give you enough rest before running the next lap.

Yes, SSuF Admin says it right too. Get a positive support group with will encourage each other.
