China Products Sourcing and Entrepreneurs Help

Dear Entrepreneurs and would be Entrepreneurs, many of you out there would want to start your own business but do not know how to start. Most would want to start small as a retailer but do not know where to get your goods.

I would like to offer my assistance in one forms or another.

After going overseas exploring on business and networks for the past few years, I manage to establish networks both local and overseas especially in China. China business culture is very different from Singapore and if you are not familiar you will get cheated, and this is the hard truth.

The services that I am able to provide.

Sourcing for IT products (Eg Mobile phones and mp3 etc like those sold in Sim Lim)
Big IT products like netbooks, notebooks etc
Sourcing for household products
Shipping arrangements from China

Simple Web Design with design firms in Singapore to kick start your business.

As I have a few ways to get products from China, you can always purchase in small qty as shipping charges will differ. (Suitable for sales sold in blogs)

I was wondering whether you actually have a business in China or deals with China, or you are just very experienced and well connected with business and businessmen in China?

Hi, actually I am doing more of a favour than really earning money as I know how hard it is to start small.

If you have a particular brand, I can get my guys to help purchase and send to Singapore for you. Beats you having to fly up to buy and sell, you incur a higher cost this way.

Fyi, those China Hps that is sold in Sim Lim can be brought for less than 100 SGD anytime in China, profit margin after deduction of transport should be around 100%

100 SGD for a phone? I'm assuming this goes for cameras and other small gadgets as well?

I think the main here is to base on trustworthiness. I know a few people who can buy stuff for me in China. But can I trust them? I am not just talking about money - It is also about their taste, or understanding of quality and importance of reliability.

From what I know from a business associate in China, there are basically anything consumables you can get from China..

The difficult part is knowing the right contacts and getting the right qualities (and quantities)..
I figure this is a great opportunity to tap into..

I need to see what's sellable first..

Are the products original? Like, what happens if I want an iphone?

If you want to buy low cost products from China, do not expect much on quality. You might be considered lucky to find reliable source and reliable products. I have been trying different products from China, to-date still fail...

I am going to China next week for sourcing again anyway...

Hi,

I tends to think that there are indeed QUALITY products in China too. Is just that the labour cost is low, which explains for the lower prices. Ppl tends to associate cheap price to low quality. But who knows, you might be picking a bargain.

But of course, like what alot of you has mentioned, you need to be careful and have the right and reliable contacts to do biz with.
