So which is better? Which one are you likely to succeed in more?

I've been looking around. There seem to be very few affiliates out of the thousand who do make it big. On the other hand, creating a product from scratch means starting a biz from scratch, risks included.

Someone informed me before that he got 20% of his online income from affiliate products and the rest from creating this own product.
